How Can We Help? - Sources of Help

Incidences of rural racism and feelings of isolation are made worse by:

  • frustration at the lack of easily accessible information
  • expertise available to deal with issues specific to Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) individuals

When you live in or move to a rural area like north Wales it is sometimes difficult to find information on where to go, sources of support, and how the system operates. There are no “one stop shops” for BME individuals and communities to contact, and few local BME web resources. Accessing information and advice are both difficult and time consuming.

The purpose of this section is to signpost you to sources of advice, information and help.

The sources of advice and information are divided into categories. Each of these categories has links to relevant external web sites. The information supplied by these links is not exhaustive, and addresses and contact details are supplied whenever possible.
